I'm a RISD-trained designer with forty years across interior design, landscape and garden design, and professional organizing. For years I worked behind the scenes on weddings — consulting with experienced planners, watching real celebrations come together and fall apart.
What I kept seeing: the most beautiful, stress-free weddings weren't the ones with the biggest budgets. They were the ones where the couple had made the right decisions before anyone picked up a contract.
That knowledge lives in the heads of professionals. It isn't written down anywhere. So I wrote it down.
